Catch up time

It seems like every Sunday night I say to myself, hmmm...I don't have anything planned for this week, it should be a quiet one - then before I know it, it's Thursday night and I haven't accomplished anything on my to-do list. Oh well, my to-do is pretty boring, and playing with the kids is much more entertaining.

First of all we would like to say a great big congratulations to our friends Dave and Karen on the safe arrival of their beautiful little girl Julia Louise on Monday April 16th, Christine is very excited to have a new girlfriend to play with. Julia is very lucky to be getting such funny, smart and tall parents (I always wanted to be taller).

Christine has be continuing her antics this week, here's both a visual and written recap. She likes to move her Dad's shoes all through the house (so he has go hunting for them) and now has discovered how to put them on and walk around the house, in this picture she even managed to get them on the right feet.

Christine enjoys taking a bunch of her toys and piling them in different areas around the house - her highchair, our front bench, our bathroom floor etc. Here is a picture of her sitting in one of her "toy piles" on a cardboard box on our living room floor.

Can you find the baby in the picture above? One of the other places Christine will pile her toys is on top of her baby brother - sometimes you can barely find him amongst them. Mostly he doesn't seem to mind (as you can tell, he slept through this onslaught), but sometimes he gets upset and cries - he's such a baby!

Our good family friend Doris came by this week for a visit with Christine and an introduction to Dashiell, we had a nice visit although Christine got a little grumpy at the end didn't want to get her picture taken.

Wow, I'm exhausted now from all of the updates - here's a final shot of our little guy - although frankly he is not so little anymore, he's gaining weight like a champ and outgrowing clothes already.
