Mommy's Little Helper

Here's a picture of Christine getting into one of her favourite shenanigans - climbing into her toy box. Unfortunately around half the time she needs to be rescued by me to get out - not the most productive part of my day.

Christine is turning into quite a little helper with her little brother Dashiell. She gives him many, many hugs throughout the day (sometimes a little too enthusiastically), and will point to him and seem worried when he cries. The only time she really demonstrates any kind of jealousy is when he is getting his diaper changed - which is odd, because she doesn't seem to like getting hers changed at all.

This morning Dashiell was napping in his chair and I left the room for a moment only to discover upon my arrival back that Christine had "tucked" him in and given him a doll to cuddle with - so cute. Maybe the doll was not the most masculine toy for him to cuddle with, but we're not going to get caught up with gender specific toys just yet.
