Deck the Halls

The last weekend before the big Christmas weekend spectacular was busy as usual. First of all the picture above is of Christine "helping" me with some Christmas baking by testing some chocolate chips. She had a total of five chocolate chips then literally ran around in circles for about half a hour on a sugar high before crashing, it was hilarious. That's my girl!

On Saturday Ben, Christine and I traveled to Ottawa for an annual Christmas party with Ben's side of the family. Christine was very good in the car mostly sleeping and babbling with just a little fussing. The party was at Great Aunt Kate's house and there were lots of family (including other kids for Christine to interact with) in attendance. Of course there was lots of yummy food as well, along with some Christmas caroling.

I think Christine had a good time entertaining everyone and getting spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa and all the other adults - you can see below that it doesn't take much to entertain her, here she is dragging someone's unsuspecting shoe around Aunt Kate's house - fascinating!
