Duck, Duck, Christine?
This past weekend Christine got to spend time with more extended family members than she can count (which isn't that hard, because her secret shame is that she can't count). On Saturday after spending the morning hanging out on the couch and playing we were off to the magical land they call Peterborough. We were headed there for a surprise birthday party for Christine's first cousin-twice removed Paul. After lunch with Grandpa and Grandma we went to our hotel to enjoy a swim in the very nicely heated indoor/outdoor pool with Uncle Luke and Amber, Aunt Kathleen and Mike and Phil. Saturday night was the big party and Christine was her usual party-animal self, showing off her superior walking skills and being a big flirt :)
Sunday after a family brunch we headed home to spend some more time together before another long work week began. We also got to spend some time catching up with Molly the dog, Christine was so excited to tell her about the highlight of her weekend away. Our hotel was right on the river in Peterborough and it seems like the local ducks had discovered that if they hung around the hotel they just might get some food. So after baiting them with some Cheerios (who doesn't love Cheerios?) they would gather right outside our patio door eating the snack and looking for more. Christine loved it and would constantly go back to the door looking for the ducks again and again.
So, here's a picture of Christine with her usual fake duck:

And here's a picture of Christine with her new duck friends:
