Visit from Santa
Due to our outstanding good behaviour all year Santa paid a visit to our house and Christine and Dash scored some really cool gifts. Above you'll see Christine zooming around the house in her cool red tricycle Santa brought her, while Dash was busy playing with his RC Firetruck that was left for him. After opening our presents at home with Nana and Papa (who came in all the way from Victoria to spend Christmas with us) we headed to Grandpa's house to open even more gifts.
At Grandpa's house we were once again spoiled by the many, many generous gifts from everyone. Dash's favourite gift of all this Christmas was a little car steering wheel that honks, plays music etc. - above you can see him laughing at it.Next stop on our Christmas Caravan was Uncle Geof and Aunt Brenda's where once again we got presents (see I told you we were good this year). Besides some really cool toys the kids got (that the dogs were overly interested in) Christine got a bunny hat and Dash a dinosaur (specifically a Dashasaurus) hat - unfortunately he wasn't in a co-operative mood for a photo shoot. We also got the first Christmas Dinner (on Christmas day proper) for my family in many, many years (I think 8 years) - thanks so much to Geof and Brenda for hosting us and our craziness.
Then we finally made it home for just a couple of minutes of playtime before the kids crashed. Then a Christmas miracle occurred for Molly the dog. An emergency BFF meeting was held and it was determined that due to recent good behaviour Molly would be immediately reinstated as Security Officer. Molly celebrated the decision by destroying her Christmas present (a squeaky, stuffed hedgehog) as she felt it was a security risk.
