A lion, a turtle, a kangaroo and a bee walk into a bar..

Sunday afternoon we had an menagerie of little animals running around our house - plus one newborn hanging out. We had our friends Mark and Tracy come in from London with their little guys Tim the Turtle and newborn Sam, and our friends Nick and Marsha came with their little lion Thomas - joining them of course were Christine the Kangaroo and our own little Bumblebee Man Dash (as you can tell from the picture above he's was mucho sad.

So Dash's costume was of course Bumblebee Man - not just some regular old bumblebee. For a comparison see the original Bumblebee Man above and Dash below. You'll see they have the same forlorn/sad expression on their faces.

Christine was our own little Kangaroo and was showing off her hopping skills all afternoon, Ben dressed up like a Zookeeper to keep her in line - just in case she decided to test her boxing skills out on any of her guests.
The kids all had a great time playing together as did their parents and we are looking forward to more costumed fun on Wednesday - stay tuned for more pictures.
