Giddy Up!

Today was a huge first (of I hope many) for Christine the Cowgirl - her first pony ride :) This afternoon Christine, Dash, Grandma, Grandpa, Ben and I headed out to farm to pick pumpkins, see some farm animals, play in the hay and of course ride the ponies. As you can tell from the pictures Christine may have been a little intimidated at first but quickly got the hang of things - her favourite catch word of the day? Yeehaw of course.
Well Grandpa and Christine were racing around the track at an outstanding 2km per hour Grandma and Dash were hanging out enjoying a coffee (not Dash - he's trying to cut back) watching the world go by.

Dash then needed a lift up from Ben to see his sister fly by on good ol' Peppy the Pony (his real name believe it or not)Christine got to check out the local bunny population - unfortunately only one was hopping around as the rest of them were huddled for warmth in their hutch.

Christine, Dash and Grandpa played in the hay together - including a race through a hay maze by Christine...next stop the Triwizard Tournament.

And to finish the day we picked out some pumpkins to take home for Halloween.
