Happy 2nd Birthday Christine!

Today is the big day for Christine - she now is officially two! She can now do such things as finger painting, song singing and of course Ben and I are now letting her borrow the car whenever she wants (as long as she fills it up when she's done). Since her birthday conveniently falls on Thanksgiving weekend we have been partying it up all weekend long.
Saturday afternoon we headed off to Uncle Geof and Aunt Brenda's house for a non-traditional Thanksgiving/Birthday dinner. Christine was most excited to play with Bear the dog and Ben and I were most excited to play Wii - although Geof and Brenda did not warn us about muscle soreness from over-exertion while Wii-ing. We had smartie cake (which Christine helped me make), opened presents (thanks guys) and had a great time - the only downfall? Dash couldn't have cake and as you can see he was definitely interested in what were were eating.
Sunday afternoon we headed to Christine's Grandpa and Grandma's house for the more traditional Thanksgiving dinner with birthday overtones. There were balloons for the birthday girl of course...
There was dancing of course....
And of course there was more cake - this time it was a Finding Nemo cake which was very exciting as Christine loves fish (and cake). Also lots more presents (thanks guys) and once again no cake for Dash.
Today was the actual official birthday for Christine and we spent the morning together hanging out in one of her new presents. Christine's Nana and Papa sent her a play tent all the way from BC - as you can see we all enjoy hanging out in it together - it may just become the official meeting place for future BFF meetings - stay tuned for updates. Finally here is the cake-less Dash hanging out in the new tent - I think he may have something on his head though.
