Happy Mother's Day

Christine, Dashiell, Ben and I would like to wish Nana and Grandma a very Happy Mother's Day from all of us. We love you both very much.

We have had a very nice Mother's Day weekend (to accommodate different people's schedules we spread it out through the weekend). Friday night Christine, Ben and Dash took me out to dinner to celebrate my second Mother's Day, we had a very nice dinner just the four of us and the kids were very well behaved.

Saturday we had both a Mother's Day lunch and dinner (with nap time in between) with Ben's family. Christine and Dashiell were angels and entertained us all - Dash with his all encompassing smiles and Christine by running around and playing in her new sandbox at Grandpa's house.

Today we all headed out to church together where Christine was not on her best behaviour, somehow toddlers seem to have a hard time grasping the idea that you are supposed to be quiet in church. Then we have spent the afternoon enjoying the sunshine and puttering around gardening in our backyard. A great big thank from me to Ben for making my day so special.
