Weekend Visitors

Christine and Dash had a busy weekend hosting many visitors to our house. On Saturday Uncle Geof and Aunt Brenda came over for a birthday-ish dinner and catch-up visit. On that note - here's wishing Geof a very Happy Birthday on Monday :) We had some really awesome steaks and a blue birthday cake (a family tradition for Geof) and we all got to watch Christine have a temper tantrum during dinner. Her illusion of being the perfect little niece has now been utterly destroyed, Dash was a perfect gentleman, but then again how much trouble can a 8 week old get into?

Today we had a whole gaggle of Ben's cousins over with their children. In attendance were Sarah, Adam and their children Nicholas and Abby, Teresa, Anne and their children Adrian and Noel, Emily with her niece Dixie, Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Kathleen, Uncle Luke and Amber and Uncle Matt (oh and Molly who gratefully accepted food donations from many an unsuspecting toddler). The kids had a great time running around the back yard and playing on the swing set while the rest of us visited and enjoyed some food and conversation together. Christine suffered some head bumps in the name of fun but she had a great time otherwise. Dash once again was a good little guy and just slept and ate the day away.
