Catching Up...

Well it seems our technical problems have finally cleared up and we are able to upload pictures again - woohoo! So to catch up since our last set of photos - we went to Canada's Wonderland on a very rainy, cold Saturday with Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Luke and Amber and Aunt Boo. We only managed a couple of rides before the heavens opened above us and we all got drenched. So since the kids are such thrilled seekers the first ride we hit was of course the ever popular swans. Grandpa and Ben accompanied them and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Ben and I then took the kids on the Hanna-Barbera themed carousel - while Dash rode around on Dino, Christine took a spin on Jabberjaw. Right after we finished spinning around and around the rain started and we headed home shortly after - we've got a raincheck until the end of June so hopefully we'll have better luck with the weather next time.
We would now like to take the opportunity to wish a very Happy Birthday to our friend Erin - thank you for your generous spirit and valued friendship - hope you've had a great day with the family!

Now that I'm back at work full-time Christine, Dash and I miss our regularly scheduled playdates with Maja and Erin so last week we were happy we got the chance to hang out with our gal pals on Saturday morning - and this time the weather cooperated.

We spent our time hanging in their big backyard and Christine and Dash quickly became entranced by Maja's cool wagon and we had to take turns pulling them around and around. Christine (being the awesome big sister that she is) also took a turn pulling the Dash Man around the backyard.
Maja and Christine also had a blast releasing their inner Picasso by creating surrealistic works on art on Erin's patio - their medium of choice being sidewalk chalk. Other than the odd quibble about who's turn it was to use the coveted blue chalk we all had a great time hanging out with our buddies and look forward to our next playdate.
